Idea for a religion
So many of the world's miseries are the result of irrational religious beliefs and evil that men do in the name of God. It's time to introduce rationality into our lives in a more tangible form. It's time for people to build temples of rationality. Although I'm not sure who will finance the building of these temples.

That was supposedly the essence of the DK movement started by Periyar. Then it degenerated into a caste bashing political outfit.
Is there a movie on Periyar? Or is there going to be one made with Sathyaraj and Khushboo? Somebody should relaunch a party based on Periyar's beliefs. Or is the DMK that party?
Temples for rationality already exist. They're called universities and colleges. "Science" is the name of that religion. Although it has branched into far more forms than all the Protestant sects combined, it holds together with basic rules of governance (experiments must be tested and concluded) and preaching (professional speaking at lecture halls).
