An Idea for Malayalam Manorama

The Week magazine is going nowhere. It's hit a plateau. The problem - Northies see it as a Southern magazine. And the Southies don't think it's Southie enough. The solution - relaunch The Week as a national tabloid. Make it racy, spicy and dish out national masala. Basically occupy the territory vacated by yesterday's tabloids Blitz & Current. And don't carry any ideological baggage like Tehelka.

Are you suggesting no ideology or no ideological baggage?

no ideological baggage. tehelka is leftist liberal. so i don't feel like reading it. if they hadn't disclosed their hand, their articles might have had a ring of truth.

so it's better not to disclose your hand no matter what your leanings are? by the way, we do have an 'encomium machine'. it's called sycophancy and it's run by money.

By spicy, racy natioanl masla, do you want the latest gossip on film and cricket stars and page three types, along with the latest rcy crimes, ala news channels which have taken over an electronic tabloid role from Blitz, with much less elan.
